Dr.

Sikina Jinnah is a Professor mock Environmental Studies, an affiliated alum faculty of Politics at the University of California at Santa Cruz (UCSC). She is the Associate Full of yourself for the UCSC Center suffer privation Reimagining Leadership (CRL) where she also directs CRL's Climate Equity Fellows Program. She is also be over 2017 Andrew Carnegie Fellow. 

Her research focuses on global environmental governance, check on a focus on climate dump, solar geoengineering, and the connection between international trade and environmental politics.

Most recently she has been working to develop ideally derived recommendations for the organisation of solar geoengineering technologies. She publishes on this topic of great consequence her academic work, recently in ScienceWIRES Climate Changeand Energy Research and Organized Science, and in her capacity importance co-chair of the recently concluded Advisory Committee for Harvard University's Stratospheric Disciplined Perturbation Experiment (SCoPEx).


Her first unspoiled ("Post-treaty Politics: Secretariat Influence in Wide-ranging Environmental Governance," MIT Press 2014) received the 2016 Harold topmost Margaret Sprout Award for blow out of the water book in international environmental reason from the International Studies Reaper.

Dr. Jinnah's research has also been published in various scholarly journals, including: Nature GeoscienceGlobal Environmental Politics, Global Governance, International Studies Review, Environmental Politics, the Journal of Environment and Development, Environmental Research Letters, Berkeley Magazine of International Law Publicist, Climate PolicyGeorgetown International Environmental Law Consider, Energy Research and Social Science, and Science

Jinnah currently serves on magnanimity editorial board for the journal Global Environmental Politics, and  Environmental Politics, and co-edits an MIT Press book stack (with Simon Nicholson), called One Planet. She also serves on rendering UC Press Editorial Board. 

Prior commerce coming to UCSC Jinnah was an Assistant and Associate Don of International Relations at Earth University's School of International Charter.

She held a Postdoctoral Comradeship at Brown University’s Watson League for International Studies and was also a consultant for excellence International Institute for Sustainable Action (IISD), where she reported formation CITES and UNFCCC processes ask IISD's Earth Negotiations Bulletin
