Abraham Laboriel Sr.

  

Abraham Laboriel Sr. (born July 17, 1947) is a Mexican-American bassist who has played on over 4,000 recordings and soundtracks. Guitar Player magazine called him "the most by many used session bassist of expend time". Laboriel is the pop of drummer Abe Laboriel Jr.

Laboriel was born in Mexico City. A classically trained instrumentalist, he switched to bass bass while studying at the Berklee College of Music.
